Head Coach: Emma Donges
Practice: M,W,F 8:15 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. 

Members will need to pay for their team swim suit.
Non-members $50
No discount for additional children.

The Nassau Marlins swim team is open to all Nassau members, 18 & under, who can swim 25 meters of freestyle. We begin Wednesday, May 29 th and continue through the championship meets in early July.


Registration night will be Tuesday, May 28th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nassau.
Swimmers will need to provide a black suit and swim cap.

Private/Semi-Private Lessons with an EXPERIENCED SWIM COACH


$15 session per child (30 minute sessions)


3+ years swim coach experience with Yorktown Swim Club

I currantly coach ages 10 and under for YSC. I have coached swim lessons under the Swim America program for over 7 years. I also have 13 years of competitive swimming experience. I am lifeguard certified as well. I can teach basic and competitive swimming. 


Every Monday @ 6:30 PM - 8 PM

30 Minute Sessions


Also offering swim lessons based on interest:

 2019 Summer Mommy & Me Swim Lessons




Join us every Monday & Friday in July at 10-10:30 AM for Mommy & Me Swim Lessons with Alex Davis!

Accompanied by a parent, infants and toddlers learn to be comfortable in the water and develop swim readiness skills through fun and confidence-building experiences, while parents learn about water safety, drowning prevention and the importance of supervision. 

*6 months - up to 3 years old

2019 Summer Swim Lessons

Every Monday - Wednesday - Friday @ Nassau Swim Club
$10 per session for members
$15 per session for non-members

Students learn personal water safety and achieve basic swimming competency by learning two benchmark skills: swim, float, swim - sequencing front glide, roll, back float, roll, front glide, and exit - and jump, push, turn, grab. In Water Acclimation, Water Movement, and Water Stamina, students are taught the recommended skills for all to have around water including safe water habits, underwater exploration, and how to swim to safety and exit in the event of falling into a body of water. Activities, games, and drills, geared to reinforce learning, are utilized heavily as students progress in this skill-based approach to swimming.
